Ashgrove Iris Garden

Ashgrove Iris Garden boasts a stunning mass planting of Bearded Iris in every colour imaginable providing a kaleidoscope of spring colour and perfume.

I started this page after being named as Gardening Australia's Gardener of the Year for 2013 as people were interested in the garden. So this page is mostly about my garden - Ashgrove Iris Garden, which is in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. I grow Tall Bearded Iris, as well as Roses and a varied mix of native and exotic plants. The garden is about one acre in size. Winters in the Adelaide Hills can be cold with good rainfall, but summers tend to be very hot and dry.
As a keen photographer as well as a dedicated gardener, I hope to keep keep the page informative as well as a pleasure to visit with photographs of the garden, my pets and local wildlife, as well as some of the surrounding landscapes in the Adelaide Hills.
I am happy to share my photographs, but please be aware that I own the copyright for my own images. I hope you will visit often and enjoy this page.
